Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kidepo Valley National Park

Start early with a scenic drive from Kampala heading Northeast towards Kidepo Valley National Park, located in the remote Karamoja region. The journey takes approximately 9-10 hours, passing through beautiful countryside, small towns, and occasional wildlife reserves. Upon arrival at Kidepo, check into your lodge or safari camp, enjoy dinner, and prepare for an exciting exploration in one of Uganda’s most pristine and untamed wilderness areas.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Cultural Encounter

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Kidepo’s scenic Narus Valley, home to elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, lions, leopards, and rare species like cheetahs. The diverse landscapes range from open savannahs to rocky hills, providing excellent game viewing and photography opportunities. After lunch, engage in a cultural visit to the Karamojong Manyatta, where you will learn about their traditional customs, beadwork, and fascinating way of life.

Day 3: Nature Walk and Evening Game Drive
