Day 1: Arrival and Entebbe City Exploration

Upon your arrival in Entebbe, the tour begins with a guided walk around the town, visiting significant landmarks such as the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, the first Anglican Church, and the vibrant local markets where you can witness the daily life of Ugandans. Explore the Freedom Square and hear about Uganda’s colonial history and its journey to independence. Day 2: Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Bird Watching

Wake up early for an exciting day trip to Mabamba Swamp, one of Uganda’s premier birdwatching sites and home to the rare and prehistoric-looking Shoebill Stork. Travel from Entebbe to the Nakiwogo landing site, then embark on a wooden motorized canoe ride through narrow channels lined with papyrus reeds. Your experienced guide will help spot the elusive Shoebill and other bird species such as the African Jacana, Malachite Kingfisher, and Blue-breasted Bee-eater. This immersive boat ride lasts about 2-3 hours, followed by a return trip to Entebbe, concluding your tour.
